Not only looks good with the high contrast chrome on black, but was very easy to set-up. Very readable face especially when illuminated.

By W. Ciaccia (Baltimore, MD)
I like this because, as a nurse, I need the 24-hr clock and the timer and alarms come in handy when I need to be reminded to go back and see a patient for one reason or another. What I dislike is the analog portion runs a bit fast. It is not sync'd to the digital time, it is set separately.

It Works fine for 15 days , then the digital screen get broken and I'm not able to see several functions.

"Great watch for it's price!" 2009-10-26
By J. Pereira (Portugal)
I bought this watch to use in situations where i wouldn't want to risk using another watch but found it so nice that for the price, it has no flaws!

It has light, chrono, alarms... for this price you just can't ask for more!!!

In such a cheap watch, so many features will have you smiling, great value!

Band is indeed very thin so maybe it will not last that much but by then you will be able to buy a new watch. At this price, that's a non-issue!

My girlfriend loved it too and said the same thing, she may well use it also.

Perfect for the price and very accurate.

Very light, as expected. A all use watch, will hold it's own in water also.

A good "friend" that will go everywhere with you without worries!

Highly recommended!

"backlight could be better, indestructable, 4 years and still running" 2009-09-12
By JE (dublin, ca)
it's a g-shock. you probably will lose your arm before this watch breaks. analog dial g-shock looks cool. the minute hand moves 1/3 minute every 20 seconds. it has power management features, if you put it away for a while the display turns off, the hands stop. when you pick it up or push a button it wakes up and the hands reset to the correct time. fun to watch. starts conversations with guys who like g-shock watches.

my only complaints:

backlight is bright enough to light up the illuminated hands a little but it's nearly impossible to see the lcd display using the backlight in the dark.

face is small for today's fashion trends.

stopwatch is basic, hard to see, not a primary feature

 "excellent watch" 2009-05-14
By S. Heeraman (Trinidad)
i bought this watch because the band from my old on burst, this watch is really nice and sweet, excellent charging, and atomic time keeping is great the only draw back is the back light, it only covers from 9 to 3 straight across, but i guess the reason for the normal illumination light is because of the solar pannel on the watch itself..that why i give it a 55 star

 "Nice Watch" 2009-05-03
By Gary Sibilant
This is a decent watch, it's got Atomic Timekeeping (in the US) and it is also solar powered, so you can pretty much buy it and not have to set the time ever, all you do is wear it! It also has a cool party trick in that the watch illuminates when you move your arm to look at the time - but only when the watch senses that the ambient light is not good enough, in sunlight and good indoor lighting the watch illumination does not come on, pretty neat! The only bad thing about this watch is that the digital readout is rather small and not too practical. This keeps the watch from getting a 5 star rating from me.

 "Great watch." 2009-04-27
By Todd Humphrey
I love this watch. The recessed crystal protects it from getting all scratched up and the atomic time keeping function is great. I had a model almost identical to this for years and had no problems with it until I lost it so I had to replace it with the closest thing I could find. Great value on Amazon.

I love this watch, it's solar-powered which means it doesn't need replacing of batteries, it's shock proof which means it's durable. Very good watch for its price.

By B. Cullen

i'v had this watch for about 4 years and it still looks great. but my glass is all scratched up but iv hit it against walls and dropped it and it still works great. you have to make sure it gets plenty of sun cause one of the analog gets a little slower then the digital. but other then that its a realy good watch.

"Normally a big Casion fan, but this one was disappointing" 2009-08-26

By A. Chatterjea (Chapel Hill, NC)

I am a big Casio fan--an aunt gave me a digital Casio watch in 1984 which lasted 18 years!! A Casio alarm clock bought in Hawaii for $10 continues to function after 13 years!

But, this watch has been disappointing. The features are excellent. But, about three years after purchase (from Target, for $50), its mechanical hand and digital display went out of sync. The digital watch performs accurately, but the hour and minute hand displays are incorrect.

Still, I think Casio is a great company (far better than Seiko, in my experience--over the years, I bought several Seikos in the $50-$70 price range, (bought from K-Mart, one from Bangkok airport); they usually stopped functioning in less than a year). My next watch purchase is very likely to be a Casio.

 "Nice watch. One Problem." 2009-07-30

By Stephen Metzger (greater boston, ma)

I like Casios. I have a triple sensor pathfinder I really like, but is quite monstrous and does not fit well under a buttoned down short sleeve. I picked this up because it was cheap, solar, and a lot thinner/smaller than the Pathfinder. Is is still not a "slim" watch by any means. The watch works well, looks nice, and goes with anything from formal to informal. The only real beef is that the silver hands on the titanium colored background is not high contrast enough to just give a quick glance and read the time. There is another analog Casio, WVA430J-1, with a similar look and features (more expensive due to the atomic time sync). In hindsight I should have purchased that one simply for the higher contrast face/hands.
