i'v had this watch for about 4 years and it still looks great. but my glass is all scratched up but iv hit it against walls and dropped it and it still works great. you have to make sure it gets plenty of sun cause one of the analog gets a little slower then the digital. but other then that its a realy good watch.

I am a big Casio fan--an aunt gave me a digital Casio watch in 1984 which lasted 18 years!! A Casio alarm clock bought in Hawaii for $10 continues to function after 13 years!
But, this watch has been disappointing. The features are excellent. But, about three years after purchase (from Target, for $50), its mechanical hand and digital display went out of sync. The digital watch performs accurately, but the hour and minute hand displays are incorrect.
Still, I think Casio is a great company (far better than Seiko, in my experience--over the years, I bought several Seikos in the $50-$70 price range, (bought from K-Mart, one from Bangkok airport); they usually stopped functioning in less than a year). My next watch purchase is very likely to be a Casio.

only issue I could find with this watch was it shut down for a few hrs and re-started itself at the correct time.

I like Casios. I have a triple sensor pathfinder I really like, but is quite monstrous and does not fit well under a buttoned down short sleeve. I picked this up because it was cheap, solar, and a lot thinner/smaller than the Pathfinder. Is is still not a "slim" watch by any means. The watch works well, looks nice, and goes with anything from formal to informal. The only real beef is that the silver hands on the titanium colored background is not high contrast enough to just give a quick glance and read the time. There is another analog Casio, WVA430J-1, with a similar look and features (more expensive due to the atomic time sync). In hindsight I should have purchased that one simply for the higher contrast face/hands.
